First Paddle on the Passaic
A great day out, mild, cool (about 10C) , with little wind. I put in at the bridge and tried to paddled upstream. What I thought was the main channel was a tangle of fallen trees, so I decided to paddle downstream. It was one of the more interesting trips of late, in that some negotiation of fallen trees and logs was required.
The sun came out and the light was constantly changing.Stopped for lunch, photos and maneuvering- 3 hours return.
